| It is not a rule or anything... it is like runners have to be strong and long... jockeys have to be short and light... for their own good... The small height also allows for a lower centre of gravity and thus a better manoeuvrability and less chance to fall .... Correct me if i'm wrong... _________________ Many who live deserve death and many who die deserve life... Can you give it to them?

| Yeah it is sure!! The horses get the weight if ever it is not heavy enough for the average or if the jockey is not heavy enough. It is so because the races have to be fair! All the horses have to be at almost same weight so as to run the same length and determine the winner! |

| Wa...I even heard that those races were completely tricked so that the owner could bet on some horses and thus win huge amount... Corruption? _________________ Many who live deserve death and many who die deserve life... Can you give it to them?

| It is fairness because you cannot put a lighter horse to run against a heavier for the same distance!! The corruption is not on the horse status. It is in the betting system! Some exception can be the doping of horse, but it is risky(imagine a horse having convulsion in a race, oooouuuccch) |

| I don't know and don't want to know about it! I think the ICAC is doing there best for eradicating the corruption(so don't bother about it, just don't do it) But what is sad in it is that there is chinese involved in those corruption in the horse races! |

| Saturday races season started some weeks ago...pfff...I'm thinking about all the money being gambled on these poor animals... Moreover, the majority of people who spend their time betting there are from the middle class or lower midle class. Ironically, the newspapers are filled with stories of lower middles-class people complaining that they are poor and don't have enough money to support their families -> then how the hell can they afford playing the little money they've got at the races?! All this money circulating stupidly into the hands of some lucky dolts...sheeeesshh it's so frustrating knowing that the money could have been used for better purposes!!! Aaargghh! _________________ Watch Kirby dance: <('- ' <) (> ' -')> <('- ' <) (> ' -')>
